Attention to detail is of paramount importance in these key business areas and Kyri's proven expertise enabled the company to develop continually, whilst minimizing financial and corporate risk. Following the untimely death of Andreas Liveras (the Chairman and CEO) in 2008, Kyri resigned his directorship. Subsequently, the trustees retained him as a consultant to the business. He, and the other consultants, advised that the proposed €200 million development plan for two new 100m yachts, agreed with Mr Liveras, should be stopped and made a recommendation to sell the fleet. This sale was completed in 2010.
