Kyri Kyriacou was appointed to the Board of Mediterranean Yachts Shipping Co (Greece) in July 2001. The company had commissioned the build of two 85-metre (277 ft) and one 75 metre (244 ft) luxury superyachts. The first, ‘Annaliesse’ was be launched in 2004 and her sister ship, ‘Alysia’ in 2006. These projects amounted to an investment in excess of €160m.
